I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful historic farmhouse just outside of Newton Abbot. The owner has lovingly restored this 600+ year old house, and it truly feels like stepping back in time. The attention to detail is incredible, and my room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, with gorgeous Egyptian cotton bedding scented with lavender. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a great care taken for my vegetarian option. I especially enjoyed the homemade potato cake! The owner was a lovely lady, making sure that everything was perfect during my stay. I would definitely recommend this unique and charming Bellamarsh Farm B&B to others. I had a fantastic experience and would love to visit again in the future.

The room at Bellamarsh Farm B&B was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom that had all the necessary amenities like free toiletries, a hairdryer, and a refreshing shower. It felt like a home away from home, especially after a long day on the road. The tea/coffee maker was a great addition, allowing me to enjoy a hot cuppa while soaking in the garden view. The soundproofing was a bonus, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep.
I personally didn't like the fact that the room only had a tea/coffee maker and not a mini-fridge. But hey, that's just my preference, and some people might not even mind it.

Wonderful old house, comfortable bed, great host, plentiful breakfast, close to village and river for dog exercise.
Nothing bad to say.

Stayed in a quaint farmhouse with lovely garden views. Free WiFi and parking saved me from my social media and parking nightmares. The flat-screen TV kept me entertained when I couldn't sleep.
Traffic noise became the soundtrack of my rural getaway. Just what I needed to feel like I was in the heart of the countryside!

This charming and historic farmhouse offers a wonderful welcome and comfortable rooms. Guests can enjoy a plentiful and varied breakfast, with special care taken for dietary preferences. The location is rural enough to enjoy local exercise near the river, and there is a nearby village for dining options. The owner is charming and attentive, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a relaxing stay.
Access to the property may be tricky due to ongoing construction work in the area.

What a wonderful stay we had during Christmas! The farmhouse was beautifully restored, with a stunning 500-year-old ceiling in our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding that smelled of lavender. The owner was charming and friendly, and she paid great attention to detail. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options including a mouth-watering veggie option. We didn't need lunch after that! Another advantage was the location - close enough to walk to the nearby village for a meal, but still surrounded by fields and a river for our dog to enjoy.
To our stay. The unfortunate location next to a busy road meant that we could hear some road noise, especially with the windows open.
